Reality show idea, Dance-off.

Every now and then an idea of new tv series and reality shows pops up in my head so I thought I might just post my ideas in the new idea category on my little blog and pray that someday maybe something like it appears on my tv-screen.

Dance-off is my latest idea and I just happened to come up with it cause I hate the wait between every season of So you think you can dance. Also to get to see the old stars of the previous seasons again plus my favourite choreographers would be thrilling.

The basic idea is that the audience vote on the choreographers (not the dancers like in previous shows). 10 chosen choreographers gets to pick 2 dancers out of previous seasons of So you think you can dance USA, Australia and Canada that shall represent them in the show. Every week you get to vote for your favorite choreographers and the last one standing wins a sum that will be donated to their favorite charity (much like I’m a celebrity get me out of here). They could have like old contestants compete / audition for the 10 choreographers at the start of each season and then the choreo get to qwuarrel about who gets who. At the end 20 dancers are chosen (2 for each contender) and show starts… oh well, I’d love a dance show like that… I never get enough of dance shows… Dancing with the stars just doesn’t do it for me. Give me real contenders and good choreographers and you got a bombshell of a danceshow. I’d love to see Sonya Tayeh, Mia Michaels, Stacey Tookey, Mandy Moore, Doreana Sanchez, Tyce DiOrio, Dan Karaty and all the choreographers from SYTYCD compete for voters instead of the amateur dancers. It would be a great show.

It would be nice to see some of the old dancers from previous seasons of So you think you can dance again. I sorta miss Lacey, Benji, Talia and all the old dancers from the show…

Last but not least I’d love to have Nigel Lythgoe produce the show
